Diagnostic Support
PCI can offer complete support to the healthcare system via histology and clinical diagnostics, from cut-up to reporting.
The support offered can be on a one-off basis or can be a scalable contract tailored to specific needs. The full range of histology, from wet tissue cut-up, tissue processing, section cutting and staining, through to reporting of pre-prepared slides is available. The range of IHC, molecular tests and support offered is available upon request.
In addition to our complete histology services, PCI can also offer a second opinion service. Both services are reliable and flexible as either a short term solution or as long term support. Reporting of pre-prepared slides can be arranged by use of a courier and next day delivery for a timely and safe service.
Typical TAT (from receipt in lab to report):
Routine bx (wet to report): 3-5 days
Large excisions for cancer (wet to report): 7-10 days
Molecular (EGFR, KRAS, PIK3CA etc.): 48-72h
ISH (Her2, DDISH): 48-72h
IHC (PDL1, Her2 IHC, MMR): 24-48h
